Miss Maxi Dentelle

An ode to forgotten lace.

Meticulously composed from sourcing a collection of vintage lace tablecloths, doilies and crochet treasures, this one-of-a-kind skirt brings together textiles that may never have met otherwise. Every piece was placed thoughtfully like a puzzle, draped on a mannequin before being pieced together by hand into this final masterpiece. The result is light, airy and wonderfully and asymetrically imperfect, preserving the craftsmanship of generations past while giving it a new life to dance in.

Presented on the runway during Les Sens du Faire at Marseille Slow Fashion Week, this piece celebrates the beauty of patient hands and heirloom techniques.

A garment that wears like a memory, stitched together one thread at a time with button fixings on either sides of the skirt.

MATCH IT WITH THE NAPPERONS VOLANTS FOR A BRIDAL LOOK AND THEN EASILY WEAR THEM SEPARATELY AFTER THE BIG DAY — a forever timeless treasure.

Product Care

HOW TO CARE, WASH AND MAINTAIN THE INTEGRITY OF YOUR GARMENT

In the care dance for your KAZUKI garments, here's our recommended routine to keep them thriving:

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Dive into a bath of care with a recommended washing temperature of 30℃. Let the machine take the lead on a delicate to normal cycle, ensuring a gentle touch. For a nurturing cleanse, opt for a mild detergent – we suggest a gentle, eco-friendly option to preserve the fabric and reduce our environmental footprint. As stewards of sustainability, let's avoid harsh chemicals. Say no to bleach, fabric softeners, or any other harsh additives that might harm our fabric or compromise its eco-friendly essence. Remember, keep the dark hues in their own spotlight by washing them separately.

DRYING INSTRUCTIONS:
Give your garments a breath of fresh air – quite literally. Hang them to dry, letting the gentle breeze embrace them. Air drying not only saves energy but also extends the life of your cherished pieces.

IRONING AND STEAMING:
If your garments crave a little smoothing out, treat them to a low-temperature iron or steam session. It's like a spa day for your clothes, keeping them looking sharp without breaking a sweat. In the KAZUKI care routine, every step is a move toward sustainability and garment longevity. So, waltz through the washing, pirouette through the drying, and glide through the ironing – your clothes will thank you with a dance of their own.

SPECIAL CARE:
Treat delicate embellishments like the jewels they are. When it comes to washing and wearing, handle them with the utmost care. If your garment needs a bit of ironing, we recommend placing a protective cloth between the iron and the fabric to shield it from direct heat exposure. In the spirit of eco-friendliness, align your practices with the garment's upcycled and sustainable nature. Choose the cold water embrace, let it soak a little, taking care not to rub the fabric too hard and opt for sustainable detergents to keep the harmony intact. Consider reducing the frequency of washing – let your garment indulge in a spa day only when absolutely necessary. This mindful approach not only conserves water but also preserves the energy woven into your cherished piece.

REPAIR AND REUSE:
Embrace the art of garment rejuvenation! For minor damages, try your hand at repair techniques or patching to enhance your garment's longevity. Don't be shy – send us a picture of any wear-and-tear, and we'll happily provide a tailored repair solution. Your beloved piece will be back in our atelier for a bit of mending magic! And if, by chance, you feel it's time to part ways with your garment, remember, at KAZUKI, it's not a goodbye, but a see-you-later. We welcome any donations, ready to weave new stories into the fabric of our creations. Sustainability is a cycle, and your garment's journey doesn't end – it transforms into a new chapter.
